Porcelain White Anemone The name Anemone is derived from the Greek which means “windflower”. This comes as their delicate flowers are blown open by the window and their dead petals are also blown away. Known as a symbol of anticipation, this owes to the fact that anemone flowers close up at night and open back up the next morning. Incredibly delicate, they are known for symbolising fragility in the Victorian language of flowers and are commonly accepted as a symbol of relaxation owing to their wildflower nature, reminding us to enjoy life at the moment.
